Calling Out Companies on Social Media: Why We Love It

So we all know how we love to complain or expose companies on social media weather it be for personal gain or to show the world a wrong doing that needs to be corrected. It is easily recognized that social media is the key to spreading the word in the fastest manner these days and rightfully so thats what we use. This week in class we discussed United Airlines and the scandals that have com about from their actions, along with the impact that social media has had in spreading awareness to others about these occurrences. Personally I ahem never exposed anyone due to a major incident but I have gotten free coupons from restaurants due to complaints made on twitter to them about forgotten food or salad dressings from my to-go order.
