Can Average People Be Smarter Than Experts?

This week in class we learned about a few instances that prove that crowdsourcing can be an effective tool formulating correct answers. It is true that the average of the masses can be better than the guesses of experts on subjects. So yes collectively we are better together than separately in these particular instances. Speaking of crowdsourcing, I did learn an exponential amount about this topic and how frequently it is utilized in everyday life.
